A leadership transition is underway at RecyGlo Malaysia as the group strengthens its focus on sustainability, governance, and regional growth.
Aida brings more than 25 years of senior leadership experience across strategic planning, venture development, sustainability governance, and enterprise transformation. Her career spans the PETRONAS Group and its public-listed entities, where she led multi-billion-dollar strategic initiatives. These included board-approved expansion programmes, complex shareholder negotiations with global partners, and sustainability roadmaps aligned with international ESG frameworks. Her leadership track record highlights strong value creation, governance discipline, and stakeholder engagement across large organisations.
Most recently, Aida served as Head of Strategy, Planning & Performance, Group Risk Management at PETRONAS. In this role, she led enterprise-wide risk strategy, governance integration, talent development within the Risk Fraternity, and performance alignment across the Group. Earlier, she was Head of Strategy & Sustainability at PETRONAS Dagangan Berhad, where she guided long-term strategy and sustainability-led growth.
Her previous leadership roles at Petronas Chemicals Group Bhd, PETRONAS Refinery and Petrochemical Company, and across the wider PETRONAS ecosystem included responsibilities in venture formation, large-scale petrochemical project development, and commercial strategy execution under Project RAPID.
Under Aida’s leadership, RecyGlo Malaysia will focus on strengthening its role as a trusted digital sustainability and compliance partner. The company aims to support corporates navigating ESG requirements, waste traceability, and sustainability reporting mandates. She will also drive strategic partnerships, reinforce governance frameworks, and accelerate commercial growth aligned with RecyGlo’s regional ambitions.
Aida holds a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering (Hons) from University College London and certifications in Sustainability Accounting and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion from the University of Cambridge Judge Business School.
