Rebecca Howie takes on an expanded role as Director, Talent Acquisition Operations at Capital One

This elevation marks a key milestone in her 10-year journey with the organisation. In her expanded role, Ms. Rebecca Howie will lead strategic initiatives across talent acquisition operations, strengthening hiring processes and enabling scalable workforce solutions.

Before this promotion, Rebecca served as Senior Manager, Human Resources – Talent Acquisition Risk Management at Capital One. She focused on building and managing risk frameworks within the talent acquisition function. Earlier, she was Senior Manager, Human Resources – Talent & Performance Management, where she contributed to enterprise-wide talent and performance strategies.

Her leadership progression at Capital One also includes roles as HR Manager and Principal HR Associate in Talent & Performance Management. In these positions, Rebecca supported enterprise talent strategy and drove performance-focused initiatives across the organisation.

Earlier in her career at Capital One, Rebecca worked as a Recruiter in Campus Recruiting. She played a key role in attracting and engaging early-career talent, helping strengthen the organisation’s talent pipeline.

Before joining Capital One, she gained cross-functional experience at Tempt In-Store Productions, Quad/Graphics, and the American Red Cross. These roles helped her build strong capabilities in project coordination and corporate development.

In her new role as Director, Talent Acquisition Operations, Rebecca will focus on enhancing operational excellence within hiring practices, ensuring strong governance, and supporting long-term workforce growth.
