Marking its latest smartphone launch, Realme has introduced the Realme 16 5G in Vietnam, with the device expected to reach more markets in the coming weeks. The new handset focuses on performance, durability, and battery life, positioning itself firmly in the mid-premium segment.
The Realme 16 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 Turbo chipset and is offered in 2 colour options — Black Cloud and White Swan. It features a large 6.57-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, aimed at delivering smoother visuals and better responsiveness. The phone supports up to 12GB RAM and up to 256GB internal storage.
In Vietnam, the Realme 16 5G is priced at VND 11,490,000 (around Rs. 40,000) for the 8GB + 256GB variant, while the 12GB + 256GB model costs VND 12,490,000 (around Rs. 44,000).
Running on Android 16 with Realme UI 7.0, the smartphone comes with a Full HD+ resolution of 1,080×2,372 pixels, a 93 percent screen-to-body ratio, and 397ppi pixel density. The display supports up to 240Hz touch sampling rate and offers peak brightness of 4,200 nits. It is protected by DT Star D+ glass.
For photography, the device features a dual rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel main sensor with autofocus and a 2-megapixel monochrome sensor. On the front, it carries a 50-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls. The camera system supports modes such as Night, Portrait, Cinematic, Slow Motion, and Dual-View Video.
Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, USB Type-C, and multiple satellite navigation systems. Security features include facial recognition and an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.
The Realme 16 5G is backed by a 7,000mAh battery with 60W wired fast charging and reverse charging support. It measures 158.30×75.13×8.10mm, weighs about 183 grams, and carries IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance.
