REA India, a leading player in India’s PropTech space and the parent company of Housing.com and PropTiger.com, has named Abhishek Makkar as its Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Based in Gurgaon, Makkar will oversee the Engineering and Data Science teams while joining the Executive Leadership Team, reporting directly to CEO Dhruv Agarwala.
With over 19 years of experience in technology leadership, Makkar brings a wealth of expertise from global tech companies. He recently served at Expedia India, where he led eCommerce technology initiatives for seven years. Prior to that, Makkar was at Amazon, leading global engineering teams focused on retail experiences and alternate delivery methods.
