RayNeo Air 4 Pro debuts at CES 2026 with HDR10 display and premium audio focus

RayNeo has unveiled its new Air 4 Pro smart glasses at CES 2026, and the device is already standing out in a crowded field of XR wearables. After months of testing multiple smart glasses through late 2025, the launch signals that face-worn technology is set to take center stage in 2026.

The RayNeo Air 4 Pro is positioned as a strong contender for on-the-go multimedia use. The company describes it as the world’s first HDR10-enabled smart glasses, powered by dual-layer OLED displays and side speakers tuned by Bang and Olufsen. Together, these features aim to deliver richer visuals and a more immersive audio experience than current XR glasses.

At its core, the Air 4 Pro functions as extended reality glasses that connect to smartphones, PCs, and gaming consoles to mirror or replace traditional displays. Like competing products from other XR brands, the glasses are designed for media consumption and use a tinted visor to boost brightness and color depth.

Comfort and usability remain unchanged from the previous generation. The Air 4 Pro supports swappable prescription lenses up to -8.00 and weighs 76 grams, the same as the Air 3s Pro. While this is standard for XR glasses, it ensures the newer model does not add extra weight.

The biggest upgrade comes from HDR10 support and the audio system. HDR10 enables a wider brightness range and more accurate colors, helping preserve detail in both bright and dark scenes. As RayNeo’s CEO Li Hongwei explains, “While many wearable displays promise a large screen, they often fall short on contrast, color consistency, and stability.” HDR10 brings the Air 4 Pro closer to the visual standards of TVs and projectors.

Audio is another focus area. While co-branded sound tuning can be hit or miss, recent smart glasses with branded audio systems have shown meaningful improvements. RayNeo aims to deliver stronger bass and clearer directional sound for a more engaging experience.

Pricing and availability have not been announced. However, with the Air 4 priced around $400 in China and the Air 3s Pro at $300 in the US, the new model is expected to cost slightly more.

RayNeo also plans to launch the X3 Pro Project eSIM, a concept AR device with built-in 4G connectivity. “Currently a concept device, the RayNeo X3 Pro Project eSIM showcases what we believe is the key difference for next-generation AR — these are glasses that can connect to the internet and make calls on their own, without a smartphone,” Li said. Earlier testing by a tech publication found the X3 Pro capable, though endurance and comfort remained challenges.
