In her new role, she will lead the people strategy for Raymond’s engineering division, focusing on building a future-ready workforce, strengthening leadership and capability development, and aligning HR practices with business growth.
Sarita brings over 25 years of experience across manufacturing, telecom, consulting and global industrial sectors. Prior to joining Raymond, she served as CHRO and President at Finolex Industries Limited, where she led HR for a workforce of over 5000 employees across multiple locations.
Earlier, she was Vice President and Head HR for Financial Services at Capgemini, managing HR for more than 41000 employees across regions including Europe and APAC.
Sarita has also held leadership roles at Vodafone Idea Limited, where she led initiatives across culture, diversity, communications and employee experience, along with HR business partnering responsibilities. Her tenure at Vodafone included roles such as Vice President and Head HR for Maharashtra and Goa, with involvement in merger and acquisition-related HR priorities.
Sarita’s earlier experience includes senior HR roles at Tata Motors, where she led HR for the Passenger Vehicles business and managed operations across commercial vehicle divisions.
Her global exposure also includes leadership positions at Topaz Energy and Marine and CNH Industrial, along with earlier roles at Mitsubishi Electric and Johnson Matthey.
Alongside her corporate career, she also serves as a strategic partner in a pro bono capacity for multiple organisations.
The appointment reflects Raymond’s focus on strengthening talent, culture and organisational capabilities as it expands its presence in aerospace and precision engineering.
