Raymond Limited welcomes Rakessh Tiwary as Group Chief Financial Officer

Raymond Limited has named Rakessh Tiwary as its new Group Chief Financial Officer, marking a significant strengthening of the company’s leadership as it approaches its centenary year. Tiwary brings more than twenty five years of experience across some of India’s largest business groups, with deep expertise in financial transformation, digital finance, governance systems, ESG linked financing and large scale integration projects.

Before joining Raymond, he served as Group CFO at Adani Cement, which includes Ambuja, ACC, Penna, Orient and Sanghi Cement. At Adani Cement, he led post acquisition integration, capital structuring and performance improvement across a portfolio of more than one hundred million tonnes per annum in capacity. His work included margin expansion through cost efficiency programmes, digital transformation using SAP S4HANA and sustainability focused financing aligned with global ESG standards.

Prior to this, Tiwary was Group CFO at Adani Airport Holdings and Managing Director at Navi Mumbai International Airport. He guided the financial strategy for a network of eight major airports, including Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Lucknow and Jaipur. He also served as CFO at Adani Electricity Mumbai Limited and Adani Solar, managing financial planning, compliance and capital efficiency across India’s power and renewable sectors.

Earlier in his career, he held senior finance positions at JSW Steel, a major telecommunications and energy conglomerate and Indian Oil Corporation. His responsibilities covered strategic acquisitions, large scale project financing, ERP and SAP implementations, compliance frameworks and credit control systems. This broad multi sector background across steel, energy, infrastructure, cement and aviation has shaped his ability to manage complex business environments and drive transformation led growth.

As Group CFO at Raymond Limited, Tiwary will lead financial strategy, governance and value creation across the company’s diversified businesses, which include Raymond Lifestyle, Raymond Realty, Raymond UCO Denim and JK Maini’s precision technology and aerospace divisions. His appointment is expected to support Raymond’s ongoing transformation journey and further strengthen its long standing legacy.
