Ravi Sharma appoints Innovartan as Chief Technology Officer

Innovartan, an educational technology firm that is revolutionizing students’ preparation for competitive exams, is pleased to introduce Ravi Sharma as its new Chief Technology Officer.

Building high-performance tech teams, developing product infrastructure, and promoting deep-tech innovation in multinational corporations are among Ravi’s ten years of expertise. He was most recently Vice President of Engineering at Inflection.io, where he successfully created and expanded the Bengaluru office and used Apache Flink to handle large-scale data processing.

Before that, Ravi was Embibe’s Vice President of technical, where he oversaw a 300-person technical team and helped the platform grow during a time when the business raised $300 million in capital. Additionally, he was chosen to be a Founder in Residence at Entrepreneurs First in Paris, a distinguished program supported by Greylock, Peter Thiel’s Founders Fund, and Reid Hoffman (LinkedIn).

Ravi will be in charge of Innovartan’s technological strategy and innovation roadmap, which will speed up the platform’s delivery of AI-powered, school-integrated test-prep programs that eliminate kids’ need on outside tutoring.

Prashant Sharma, Founder and CEO of Innovartan, shared his enthusiasm about the new appointment:

“We are thrilled to welcome Ravi to Innovartan as our CTO. His depth in building transformative tech products and his vision for meaningful impact perfectly align with our mission. As we move closer to our goal of building a ‘Coaching Free Bharat’, Ravi’s leadership will be vital in shaping solutions that empower every student—right from within their schools—with the resources and guidance to compete nationally without external coaching dependencies.”

Ravi Sharma also expressed his excitement:

“I’m truly inspired by Innovartan’s mission to democratize access to competitive exam preparation. Education is one of the most powerful tools for empowerment, and I believe technology can make this transformation equitable and scalable. I’m excited to join Prashant and the team on this journey to make quality exam readiness accessible to all students, regardless of geography or background.”

Amit Singhal and Gokul Rajaram, two well-known angel investors, have contributed money to Innovartan. The company’s leadership team is further strengthened with Ravi’s hiring, which will help it accelerate product innovation and increase its influence in the K–12 education sector.
