Ratish Menon takes on an expanded role at ServiceNow as Area Vice President for BFSI in India

A senior leadership move at ServiceNow highlights the company’s growing focus on India’s financial services sector. Ratish Menon has been promoted to Area Vice President – BFSI at ServiceNow India, marking a key milestone in his progression within the organisation.

In his new role at ServiceNow India, Menon will lead strategic growth across the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance segment. His mandate includes driving large-scale digital transformation programs and expanding adoption of the Now Platform among leading banks, NBFCs, and insurance companies in the country.

Before this promotion, Menon served as National Head – BFSI at ServiceNow. Over nearly 2 years, he played a central role in strengthening the company’s presence across marquee BFSI accounts. During this period, he built high-performing teams, deepened executive relationships, and accelerated enterprise adoption of workflow automation and customer experience solutions tailored to financial institutions.

Prior to joining ServiceNow, Menon spent 5 years at Salesforce, where he rose to the role of Regional Vice President. He led growth across the BFSI portfolio in India, driving cloud transformation initiatives and expanding Salesforce’s footprint across large banks, NBFCs, and insurance firms. Earlier, as Regional Sales Director – BFSI, he shaped multi-year digital roadmaps and delivered strong revenue momentum across product lines.

Earlier in his career, Menon held multiple leadership roles at Oracle, including Sales Director – CX (SaaS) and CX Country Lead – Oracle Digital Prime. In these roles, he helped mid-market and enterprise clients transform customer engagement through cloud-based CRM solutions. He also gained experience at Teradata and SAP, managing strategic BFSI accounts and driving adoption of analytics and enterprise applications.

His early professional years at Oracle Corporation focused on technology license sales, CXO-level engagement, and large deal structuring across South India, laying the foundation for his long-standing career in enterprise technology and financial services.

With this elevation, ServiceNow reinforces its leadership strength in the BFSI sector as demand for workflow automation, digital operations, and customer experience platforms continues to rise across India’s financial ecosystem.
