An alumnus of National Institute of Fashion Technology Kolkata, Rajesh brings over 24 years of experience in shaping and scaling leading fashion and lifestyle brands.
Before taking on this role, Rajesh served as VP & Creative Director at Pepe Jeans India Limited, where he led creative strategy and brand positioning. Earlier at ace turtle, he headed Dockers as VP & Creative Director, repositioning global brands such as Dockers and Lee for the Indian market.
At ZETWERK, Rajesh worked as Director – Design and Product Development and introduced the “Design to Delivery (D2D)” model. The approach combined modern design thinking with consumer insights and focused brand storytelling.
A major part of his career was spent at Arvind Fashions Limited, where he worked for nearly 2 decades. During this time, he led U.S. Polo Assn. through several growth stages. He played a key role in launching USPA Kids and USPA Denim Co., and in expanding the brand into womenswear, innerwear, footwear and accessories. Under his leadership, the brand evolved into one of India’s leading multi-category fashion businesses. It also introduced sustainability-focused initiatives such as “USPA Responsible/USPA Life.”
In his new position, Rajesh will lead the overall design vision and execution for Pepe Jeans in India. He is expected to strengthen the brand’s creative direction and drive consumer-focused innovation to support its next phase of growth.
