The elevation was announced by Vaibhav Alshi, Chief People Officer for Natural Resources at Adani Enterprises. The announcement underlines the Group’s continued focus on building strong and future ready leadership to support India’s resource security, energy transition and industrial self reliance.
Rajendra Ingale brings more than 20 years of leadership experience within Adani Enterprises Limited, making him one of the organisation’s longest serving and most influential leaders in the mining business.
Rajendra has been associated with Adani Enterprises for over 21 years. Most recently, he served as Business Head for Mining, where he led multi location mining operations, commercial strategy and enterprise integration across the coal mining portfolio. Before this, he held the role of Chief Commercial Officer for the Mining Business for nearly 17 years. During this period, he played a key role in shaping the Group’s mining commercial frameworks, long term supply strategies, vendor ecosystems and large scale mining program execution.
In his new role, Rajendra will lead end to end coal mining operations, including strategy, commercial performance, digital integration and operational governance. His mandate also includes ensuring strong alignment across mining operations, logistics, compliance requirements and sustainability priorities.
Rajendra Ingale holds an MBA in Finance and Financial Management Services from ITM Group of Institutions.
His elevation reflects Adani Natural Resources’ focus on continuity, deep domain expertise and leadership strength as it advances its coal mining operations at scale.
