Wishing Mr. Rajan Singh greater responsibilities and exciting challenges in this impressive new chapter!
Rajan Singh, a seasoned media executive and former CEO of an international nonprofit organisation, has been appointed as the Consultant CEO of the National Cricket League (NCL). The announcement was made through his official social media accounts.
The NCL is rapidly growing as a professional cricket platform across the United States and Canada. With Singh’s appointment, the league aims to expand its footprint and bring the excitement of cricket to a broader audience in North America.
Sharing his excitement, Singh said, “I’m thrilled to share that I’ve stepped into a new chapter as Consultant CEO of the National Cricket League (NCL)—a fast-growing platform helping bring professional cricket to new audiences across the United States and Canada. After an incredible journey at EarthX, where I had the privilege of leading an international nonprofit organisation dedicated to inspiring people to act towards helping Mother Earth. Even with my new post, helping Mother Earth will be utmost in my mind.
I’m excited to now help scale one of the most dynamic sports stories in North America. With the NCL expanding into new markets, my love for sports and particularly cricket—we’re building not just a league, but a national movement. Cricket is a global sport, and it’s time that Canada and the USA join the conversation in a big way. Huge thanks to Trammell S Crow and the EarthX team for the purpose-driven memories, and now onward to the pitch!”
Singh previously served as CEO of EarthX, where he led several initiatives focused on environmental awareness and global sustainability. His experience in the media sector is extensive, having held top roles at leading broadcasters. He was formerly Executive Vice President of International Business at major Indian networks and CEO for television operations in the UK and Africa regions.
He also founded Digi Media Global, where he worked to build media and digital strategies for global audiences.
With Singh stepping into a leadership role, the NCL is poised for growth, aiming to bring cricket to mainstream sports culture in the US and Canada.
