Quick Commerce Boom: Blinkit, Zepto, and Swiggy Instamart Deliver Over 4 Million Daily Orders in March

India’s quick commerce arena has reached a fever pitch, with industry leaders Blinkit, Zepto, and Swiggy Instamart collectively crossing the monumental mark of 4.15 to 4.45 million daily orders in March 2025. This astonishing growth signifies a staggering 105 percent surge compared to March 2024, where the trio recorded 1.95 to 2.25 million orders daily.

“Blinkit led the pack with 1.65–1.75 million daily orders, followed by Zepto at 1.45–1.55 million, and Swiggy Instamart at 1.05–1.15 million,” revealed an industry insider. While Swiggy Instamart gained momentum through its independent app, Zepto and Blinkit witnessed a slower pace in attracting new users between December 2024 and March 2025, as noted by a mobile analytics platform.

This revelation further cements Blinkit’s dominance in the space, holding the highest order volumes for March. Notably, the data aggregation process spans 8 to 10 days after the month ends, making March the most recent snapshot of this rapidly evolving sector.

In totality, the top five players in the quick commerce segment fulfilled a massive 4.8 million orders per day during March, a number that echoes the meteoric rise of an industry that was almost nonexistent just four years ago. Now estimated to be worth over 6.5 billion dollars, quick commerce in India has transformed from a mere convenience into a cultural shift powered by speed, tech, and urban demand.

What began as a mere promise of delivering essentials quickly has now matured into a cornerstone of urban living. This rapid ascent reflects not only consumer appetite but also a strategic race among companies to scale and serve a digitally native generation with expectations rooted in immediacy.

In the grand theatre of retail evolution, India’s quick commerce revolution is the newest act and it’s unfolding at lightning speed.
