PwC Selects CrewAI to Power Global Agent OS for Enterprise AI

PwC has announced a strategic partnership with CrewAI, selecting the enterprise-focused AI platform to power its new global Agent OS. This collaboration signifies a major shift from experimental AI initiatives to full-scale, production-ready deployments across PwC’s internal operations, systems, and client workflows worldwide.

CrewAI will serve as a foundational layer within PwC’s Agent OS, providing the capabilities for structured orchestration, secure execution, and real-time observability of AI agents. This new platform will enable PwC to deploy AI agents at scale, both for its internal processes and for its diverse client base, offering robust flexibility for integration with a wide array of existing tools and systems.

The decision to integrate CrewAI follows significant internal success at PwC, where CrewAI-powered agents demonstrated over 700% improvements in internal process accuracy. This proven performance was a key factor in PwC’s move to a broader enablement of CrewAI within its Agent OS, signaling a commitment to moving beyond pilot projects into widespread AI adoption.

PwC’s Agent OS is designed as a cloud-agnostic orchestration platform, built to scale AI agents across various internal and external client systems. CrewAI’s platform brings a suite of features crucial for enterprise deployment, including scoped memory, secure tool utilization, sophisticated fallback logic, built-in observability, reusable agent components, cross-platform governance, and adaptive learning capabilities.

JoĂŁo (Joe) Moura, CEO of CrewAI, highlighted the impact of their technology, stating, “After seeing 700%+ improvements in internal process accuracy using CrewAI-powered agents, this is why PwC is enabling CrewAI within Agent OS more broadly.” This partnership builds on CrewAI’s track record of successful deployments with other major organizations, including the U.S. defense department, PepsiCo, and RBC.

With this strategic selection, PwC reinforces its position at the forefront of enterprise AI transformation, aiming to provide clients with advanced, scalable, and secure AI agent solutions that drive efficiency and innovation.
