In a significant move, Punjab Chemicals & Crop Protection has announced the appointment of Vikash Khanna as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective March 26, 2025. The decision to bring Khanna onboard comes after the approval of the company’s board, which made this choice following recommendations from the audit and the nomination and remuneration committees.
Vikash Khanna is a highly qualified and seasoned professional with a wealth of experience in the financial sector. A Chartered Accountant (CA) from the prestigious Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), Khanna holds an honours degree in Commerce from St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata. His expertise extends beyond finance, as he also holds a diploma in export-import management from the Indian Institute of Export-Import Management (IIEM) in Mumbai. Additionally, he is an associate member of the Insurance Institute of India, Mumbai. His credentials are further complemented by certifications in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and forex and treasury management from ICAI, New Delhi. Notably, he has also completed a leadership development program from Harvard Business School, adding to his already impressive portfolio.
With a remarkable career spanning over 27 years, Khanna’s experience in finance, business processes, and accounts makes him a dynamic addition to the company. He has proven himself as a results-driven leader with a reputation for inspiring and leading large teams to achieve success under demanding circumstances. His ability to translate complex financial and business transactions into clear, actionable insights for both frontline leaders and senior executives has been one of his key strengths.
Before taking on this new role, Khanna held senior positions at several prominent organizations, including CESC (part of the RPG-Sanjiv Goenka Group), IndiGo Airlines, Jet Airways, ABIS Export (Indian Broiler Group), SITI Cables Network (Essel Group), Intech Organics, and R.K. Associates & Hoteliers. His diverse experience across industries and his robust financial acumen make him an excellent fit for this pivotal role at Punjab Chemicals & Crop Protection.
The company itself specializes in a wide range of products, including agrochemicals, pharmaceutical intermediates, APIs, specialty chemicals, and phosphorous derivatives. With Vikash Khanna at the helm of its financial strategy, Punjab Chemicals & Crop Protection is set for a new era of growth and financial stability.
