Presight, a global big data analytics firm based in Abu Dhabi and driven by artificial intelligence (AI), has partnered with Microsoft to support its Presight AI-Startup Accelerator program in the UAE.
This partnership was established through a memorandum of understanding signed by both companies. Presight is primarily owned by G42, a technology holding company located in Abu Dhabi. This initiative builds on Microsoft’s $1.5 billion investment in G42 aimed at fostering AI innovation, with Presight already working closely with Microsoft on various projects.
In a statement, the Presight AI-Startup Accelerator program was noted to have been designed “to help promising AI startups gain a commercial advantage, access cutting-edge technology resources, and expand their network within the UAE, the wider G42 ecosystem, and Presight’s global markets, alongside venture funding opportunities to exponentially accelerate their growth and scalability.”
Startups participating in the program will benefit from Microsoft’s expertise in technical support, mentorship, and market acceleration through the Microsoft Founders Hub initiative. Microsoft will provide them with high-performance computing, cloud service access, and insights into foundational AI models, including large language models (LLMs) and generative AI-driven analytics.
Thomas Pramotedham, CEO of Presight, said, “Microsoft and Presight share the same passion for innovation in AI, and nurturing the next wave of AI pioneers. Our collaboration through the Presight AI-Startup Accelerator underscores our mutual dedication to empowering startups with the tools, expertise, and opportunities they need to thrive. Together, we will foster a vibrant ecosystem where groundbreaking AI can flourish.”
Naim Yazbeck, General Manager of Microsoft UAE, added, “We are excited to collaborate with Presight to support AI startups in their journey to success. The Microsoft Founders Hub is committed to providing technical resources, mentorship, and go-to-market enablement, ensuring startups have the infrastructure to innovate and scale. Together with Presight, we will help drive AI adoption and create transformative solutions that benefit industries worldwide.”
The Presight AI-Startup Accelerator, introduced at last year’s GITEX Global event in Dubai, targets startups that have created a prototype and are prepared to enter the market. The program offers a well-structured curriculum designed to help these startups enhance their AI-driven products, improve their go-to-market strategies, and connect with Presight’s product pipeline, which opens up exceptional opportunities for cross-selling, networking, and promotion.
Startups involved in the program will benefit from top-tier AI infrastructure, expert mentorship, and commercialization prospects that will help them achieve lasting success. As a result, graduates of the Presight AI-Startup Accelerator will be well-equipped to become market-ready companies, having identified their product-market fit, proven customer value, and built a viable business model.
