Poco has confirmed that it will launch the Poco C85 5G smartphone in India on 9 December. Ahead of the launch, the company has shared the key specifications, giving a clear look at what the device will offer. The smartphone will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor and will include a 6000 mAh battery. It will be available in Mystic Purple, Spring Green and Power Black colours with a dual tone finish. An online listing has also gone live, revealing the complete details of the device.
The Poco C85 5G will feature a 6.9 inch display with HD plus resolution, a 120 Hz refresh rate and up to 810 nits of peak brightness. The display will also include TUV certifications for Low Blue Light, Flicker Free and Circadian protection. The smartphone will measure 7.99 millimetres in thickness.
The device will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity chipset paired with up to 16 GB of RAM, which includes up to 8 GB of virtual RAM. The 6000 mAh battery will support 33 W wired charging and 10 W reverse charging. Poco states that the battery is tuned for long usage and can deliver more than two days of performance. The company adds that users can expect over 29 hours of social media usage, more than 16 hours of scrolling on Instagram Reels, over 106 hours of music playback and around 23 hours of messaging on WhatsApp.
For photography, the Poco C85 5G will carry a dual rear camera setup with a 50 MP primary sensor. On the front, the smartphone will include an 8 MP camera. The device is expected to run Android 16 at launch.
