Philippe Leboeuf Appointed as CEO of Dorchester Collection

Dorchester Collection has officially announced Philippe Leboeuf as its new Chief Executive Officer, a move set to take effect in June 2025. A distinguished and award-winning hotelier, Philippe brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the role, honed through years of leadership in the luxury hospitality industry across multiple continents.

With an extensive background in the hospitality sector, Philippe is renowned for his visionary leadership, operational prowess, and deep understanding of organizational culture. His proven track record in overseeing new hotel openings will continue to propel Dorchester Collection’s reputation as a leader in the luxury hotel world.

Previously, Philippe held the position of Director General at Concorde Hotels, a Taittinger-owned brand, where he was responsible for managing 19 owned properties and 70 affiliated hotels. His leadership also extended to the prestigious Leading Hotels of the World, where he served on the Board of Directors. Other notable roles include serving as the Regional Vice President of Operations at Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, Vice President of Operations at Rosewood Hotels, and General Manager of Claridge’s. Most recently, he was the Managing Director at Raffles London, where he successfully spearheaded the hotel’s opening.

Christopher Cowdray, President of Dorchester Collection, expressed his confidence in Philippe’s leadership, saying, “Keeping the Dorchester Collection renowned culture and values alive was key in the selection of Philippe as CEO. Driven by purpose and excellence, he is highly respected globally by many stakeholders including owners, the travel trade, the media and partners, and especially employees and guests.”

Philippe shared his excitement about the appointment, stating, “As Dorchester Collection hotels write the history of their destinations and have a special alchemy that brings them together, I’m greatly looking forward to taking the company legacy and storied heritage to the next stage.”

A graduate of both Cornell University and HEC Management School in Paris, Philippe is fluent in English, French, Italian, and Spanish. He has also been honored with the prestigious title of Knight of the Legion of Honour by the French government, a testament to his exceptional contributions to the industry.
