In this role, he will oversee the company’s digital and technology roadmap across worldwide operations, strengthening enterprise wide transformation efforts.
In his new position, Santosh Rai will lead large scale transformation initiatives, align technology strategy with business growth priorities and drive innovation to improve operational efficiency and competitiveness. With over 20 years of experience, he is recognised for delivering measurable business outcomes through IT modernisation, strong governance frameworks and disciplined budget management across complex and multi location enterprises.
Before joining PGP Glass, Rai spent 7 years at Asahi India Glass Limited, where he served as Chief Information Officer and earlier as Group Head Information Technology. During his tenure, he led enterprise wide digital transformation programs, data governance initiatives and technology driven agility efforts.
Rai’s career also includes senior leadership roles across several industrial and automotive organisations. These include International Tractors Limited of the Sonalika Group, Vardhman Textiles, Volkswagen India, VE Commercial Vehicles Ltd., the Volvo Eicher joint venture, AMW Motors Ltd. and AVTEC. Across these organisations, Rai led SAP transformations, greenfield IT setups, data center commissioning, cybersecurity standards implementation and enterprise architecture modernisation.
With this appointment, PGP Glass strengthens its focus on building a future ready digital ecosystem that supports innovation, scalability and global competitiveness. Rai’s leadership is expected to play a key role in advancing the company’s digital vision and ensuring strong alignment between technology initiatives and long term business goals.
