Pepsico introduces its global gourmet chips brand Red Rock Deli to Indian consumers

Pepsico India has expanded its snacking range with the launch of Red Rock Deli, a gourmet chips brand known around the world for its premium flavours and textures. The company confirmed the introduction in a statement on Wednesday.

The brand, which originated in Australia, enters the Indian market with exotic flavours inspired by global cuisines. These flavours are now produced in India to suit local tastes. The company said that the chips are made with sunflower oil and created using three advanced technologies called Kettle Cooked, Baked and Popped. This combination aims to offer a sophisticated and elevated snacking experience.

Pepsico noted that the arrival of the brand comes at a time when India’s snacking habits are changing quickly. The company said consumers in urban areas are now looking for premium and chef inspired snacks that feel elevated yet accessible. Saakshi Verma Menon, Chief Marketing Officer of Foods at Pepsico India, said that the launch aligns with this shift. She said, “Today’s urban consumers are seeking premium, chef inspired snacks that feel both elevated and accessible. Introducing the brand in India is catering to this consumer shift toward richer textures, bolder ingredients, for intentional snacking moments.”

The company added that Red Rock Deli is available on major quick commerce platforms. The launch reflects Pepsico India’s focus on offering differentiated snacking choices for a new generation of customers. The brand combines global inspiration with local relevance and highlights the company’s commitment to taste innovation.

Pepsico said that as Indian consumers increasingly look for quality, experimentation and new flavour experiences, the entry of Red Rock Deli is a timely response. The company said the launch is rooted in its long standing focus on innovation and consumer centricity.
