Pepper Advantage Strengthens Leadership with New Appointments

Pepper Advantage, a global credit management and technology company, has announced key leadership changes to accelerate its growth. Brendan Twomey has been appointed Chief Technology Officer while Gary Stockley has been promoted from Chief Information Officer to Chief Product Officer.

As CTO, Twomey will lead the company’s technology strategy and oversee its transformation journey, with a focus on advancing PRISM, Pepper Advantage’s proprietary credit management platform. PRISM provides data and analytics across the credit lifecycle, enabling clients to manage portfolios more effectively through automated workflows that meet regulatory standards and deliver better customer outcomes.

Twomey brings over 25 years of experience in financial services technology, having delivered complex strategies for UK commercial and scale-up banks. He previously played a key role at 10x Banking, where he scaled technology architecture, expanded the product pipeline, and delivered enterprise-grade solutions for global financial institutions. He has also held senior positions at Lloyds Banking Group and the Royal Bank of Scotland, leading large-scale transformation programmes and modernising legacy systems.

In his new role as CPO, Stockley will lead the growth and development of Pepper Advantage’s product portfolio for institutional investors, banks, and portfolio managers. He joined the company in 2019 as Head of European Systems before becoming CIO in 2022, where he directed IT and data transformation teams. With over two decades of experience in the mortgage and loan sector, Stockley has been central to building PRISM and will continue shaping its evolution to support the company’s expanding offerings.

Fraser Gemmell, Global CEO of Pepper Advantage, said, “As the credit landscape evolves, the need for intelligent, modular and data-driven platforms has never been greater. PRISM sits at the core of our strategy to meet that demand—combining automation, enhanced analytics, and regulatory alignment to deliver smarter outcomes for clients. Brendan’s appointment marks a major step forward in our technology journey. His experience at 10x Banking, where he built and scaled cloud-native platforms for some of the world’s most innovative financial institutions, will be instrumental in accelerating our innovation agenda. In addition, Gary’s promotion to Chief Product Officer ensures we continue to evolve our product suite with deep industry insight and technical excellence. Together, they will lead the next wave of transformation for Pepper Advantage.”

Both Twomey and Stockley will be based in London and will report to Gemmell. These appointments follow Pepper Advantage’s acquisition by J C Flowers and are part of its strategy to expand across global markets.
