Pegasystems and SmartBridge Launch 200-Hour Training Program to Address India’s Tech Talent Crunch

Pegasystems, a leading provider of low-code platform for AI-powered decisioning and workflow automation, has partnered with SmartBridge, a prominent ed-tech company, to launch a comprehensive 200-hour training program aimed at tackling the persistent tech talent shortage in India. The initiative is set to be rolled out across India, with future plans for expansion into the Asia-Pacific and Middle East regions.

The collaboration focuses on delivering Pega’s renowned University Academic Program (UAP), which offers students practical learning opportunities and globally recognized credentials in Pega technologies. This program is designed to equip the next generation of tech professionals with the in-demand skills required by the industry.

The extensive training curriculum includes over 200 hours of content, meticulously divided into 90 hours of credit courses and an additional 120 hours dedicated to global certification courses. Participants will have the opportunity to earn highly valued certifications such as Pega Certified System Architect (PCSA), Senior System Architect (PCSSA), and Business Architect (PCBA).

“This partnership is about moving from intent to impact at scale,” said Deepak Visweswaraiah, senior vice president and managing director, Pegasystems India. 

“Together with SmartBridge, we are building a distributed model to rapidly train and certify tech talent that industry can deploy from day one. 

The program is expected to play a vital role in nurturing a skilled workforce, supporting India’s position as a global technology hub, and ensuring a steady supply of talent for the rapidly evolving tech landscape.
