PATRIZIA appoints Dr Christoph Fuchs as its new Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

Dr. Christoph Fuchs, a former employee of the German media and digital services firm Ströer Group, has been named PATRIZIA’s new Chief Technology Officer (CTO).

The company’s technological know-how and digital platform skills will be strengthened with the new hire, which will help it better implement its mid-term investment plan.

As the DUEL megatrends—digitalization, urbanization, energy transition, and living transition—drive the industry’s rapid technological evolution, PATRIZIA is investing in technology and digital innovation as a key component of its growth strategy and dedication to providing intelligent real asset solutions.

In order to support PATRIZIA’s sector-centric investment platform and efficiently and quickly address changing client demands, Christoph will be instrumental in developing a data-driven digital platform that improves cooperation, operational efficiency, and investment performance.

Following the successful introduction of a worldwide client platform and a sector-focused integrated investment platform for infrastructure and real estate last year, PATRIZIA is now furthering its platform strategy. The Executive Division, which is in charge of Corporate Affairs and Investments Operations, is complemented by the Chief Technology Office, which is run by Christoph. The platform strategy used by PATRIZIA is intended to promote increased responsibility, efficiency, and teamwork throughout the whole organization.

In order to future-proof PATRIZIA’s investment platform, the Chief Technology Office will concentrate on creating a complete digital platform, improving the company’s IT infrastructure, and promoting cutting-edge digital solutions.

“Technology is a key driver of the DUEL megatrends shaping both our industry and broader society. It is also a critical enabler of the convergence between real estate and infrastructure – what we define as the rapidly emerging RE-Infra investment segment. With the appointment of our new Chief Technology Officer, Christoph Fuchs, we are strengthening our technology expertise and digital platform. This is another important step in advancing our platform approach across all business divisions to improve collaboration and execution. I am confident that Christoph will accelerate the development of a cutting-edge digital platform, enabling us to fully harness technology as a powerful growth driver in the new investment cycle.”

Asoka Wöhrmann, CEO, PATRIZIA,

With more than 15 years of experience in technology leadership, Christoph has a proven track record of achieving strategic digital transformation and innovation. He was the Chief Technology Officer and Managing Director for both digital and conventional out-of-home advertising at Ströer Group before joining PATRIZIA.

He formerly served as EVP Enterprise Technology and other senior executive positions at ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE. Christoph had previously been employed at McKinsey & Company as a management consultant. He graduated from the University of Regensburg with a Ph.D.
