Passprt Trips Raises $500K to Expand Personalised Travel Platform

Travel tech startup Passprt Trips has secured $500K in a pre-seed funding round led by Aroa Venture Partners. The company plans to use the funds to improve its product, grow its traveller community, and expand its operations to 20 destinations across the Asia Pacific and the Middle East within the next three months.

Passprt Trips was founded in 2023 by Ujjwal Garg and Manoj Rai. It offers a personal travel advisor platform that allows users to discover, plan, and book holidays with real-time assistance. Passprt Trips is building a vertical AI stack for travel, using data contributed by its community and a well-integrated supply network to offer seamless and personalised experiences.

The platform brings together all stages of a travel journey including inspiration, planning, bookings, and on-trip support into one unified interface. This approach provides travellers with highly personalised and flexible travel solutions tailored to their needs.

In February last year, Aroa Venture Partners launched a fund with a target size of Rs 400 crore, or around $50 million. The firm has previously invested in leading startups such as Unacademy, Urban Company, CRED, Pine Labs, Magicpin, MPL, and Cars24.
