AIA Singapore has appointed Owen Addison as its new Chief Human Resources Officer. In this role, Addison will lead the company’s people strategy, overseeing talent management, organizational development, and HR transformation initiatives to support AIA Singapore’s mission of helping people live healthier, longer, and better lives.
Addison has been with AIA for nearly nine years. He most recently served as Director of Human Resources in Hong Kong, where he led strategic HR initiatives and enhanced employee engagement across the region. Prior to that, he was Director of Human Resources Planning, contributing to workforce planning and organizational design to drive long-term business growth.
Earlier in his career at AIA, Addison held the roles of Director of Executive Compensation and Equity and Associate Director in the same function. In these positions, he managed compensation frameworks, equity programs, and executive remuneration strategies.
Before joining AIA, Addison spent over a decade at a global consulting firm in London, rising to the role of Senior Manager. He specialized in people consulting, organizational strategy, and HR effectiveness, working with clients across various industries. He began his professional journey as an Analyst at a leading investment bank, gaining experience in financial analysis and talent-related projects in New York and London.
Addison’s appointment reflects AIA Singapore’s commitment to strengthening its human resources function and supporting its broader vision for growth and employee development.
