Fresh leaks suggest that Realme could soon expand its smartphone portfolio in India. The company is reportedly preparing to launch 2 new devices, expected to be called the Realme 16T 5G and Realme P4R 5G.
While the official launch date has not been confirmed yet, a tipster has indicated that both smartphones could arrive in India soon. The upcoming devices are also expected to launch with multiple colour options and storage configurations.
Expected launch details and variants
According to a post on X by tipster Abhishek Yadav (@yabhishekhd), the Chinese tech company is preparing these new releases under its smartphone lineup. The tipster reportedly spotted the devices carrying the model numbers RMX5268 for the Realme 16T 5G and RMX5266 for the Realme P4R 5G. However, the exact launch timeline remains undisclosed.
The Realme 16T 5G is expected to be available in 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 256GB RAM and storage variants. Meanwhile, the Realme P4R 5G could arrive in 4GB + 128GB, 6GB + 128GB, and 6GB + 256GB configurations.
In terms of design choices, the Realme 16T 5G is tipped to launch in Aurora Green, Starlight Black, and Starlight Red colour options. On the other hand, the Realme P4R 5G could be introduced in Lavender Glare, Silver Glare, and Titanium Glare shades.
Previous launches in the series
The rumoured Realme 16T 5G may become the 3rd smartphone in the Realme 16 lineup available in India. Earlier, the company launched the Realme 16 Pro 5G and Realme 16 Pro+ 5G on January 6. These models debuted at starting prices of ₹31,999 and ₹39,999, respectively, for the base 8GB + 128GB variants.
The Pro+ model is offered in Master Gold, Master Grey, and India-exclusive Camellia Pink, while the Pro variant comes in Master Gold, Pebble Grey, and India-exclusive Orchid Purple colour options.
Meanwhile, the latest device in the P4 lineup is the Realme P4 Lite, which launched in India on February 20 at a starting price of ₹9,999 for the base 4GB + 64GB variant. Another model, the Realme P4 Lite 5G, is also expected to join the series soon.
