Poco X8 Pro series India price tipped as brand teases Iron Man special edition

Excitement is building around the upcoming launch of the Poco X8 Pro series in India, as new leaks suggest possible pricing details while the brand teases a special Iron Man Edition. The smartphone line-up, developed by Poco, is confirmed to include the Poco X8 Pro Max 5G and Poco X8 Pro 5G. The company has already revealed several key specifications of the devices ahead of their official launch later this month.

In a post on X, the Xiaomi sub-brand hinted at the launch of an Iron Man Edition smartphone in the X series. While the official name has not yet been confirmed, tech blogger Paras Guglani (@PassionateGeekz) suggested that the special edition belongs to the Poco X8 Pro line-up and shared marketing material showing the phone’s design. The device appears to feature an Iron Man insignia on the rear panel along with a Stark Industries logo. The handset is shown in a black colour with Poco branding on the top-right corner and may come in a special Iron Man-themed retail box along with a customised phone case.

Meanwhile, tipster Yogesh Brar (@heyitsyogesh) has shared expected pricing details for the upcoming models. According to the leak, the Poco X8 Pro Max 5G could launch in India at a starting price of around ₹42,000. The standard Poco X8 Pro 5G is expected to arrive at a starting price of ₹35,000. If the leak proves accurate, the new device would launch at a significantly higher price compared to its predecessor, the Poco X7 Pro 5G, which debuted in India in January 2025 at ₹27,999 for the base 8GB + 256GB configuration.

The Poco X8 series is scheduled to launch in India on 17 March and will be available for purchase through Flipkart. The Poco X8 Pro 5G is expected to run on a 4nm octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra processor paired with a 6,500mAh battery. The Pro Max variant is expected to feature a 3nm octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 9500s chip and a larger 9,000mAh battery, suggesting a strong focus on performance and battery capacity.
