The foldable smartphone segment may soon see a new flagship as Oppo prepares to launch the Oppo Find N6 on March 17 in China and a few other markets. The upcoming device is positioned as a premium foldable and is expected to compete with devices from Samsung, Apple, and Google in the high-end smartphone segment.
The device was first showcased at Mobile World Congress 2026 in Barcelona. The design immediately attracted attention, particularly because of its new circular rear camera system called the “Cosmos Ring”. According to the company, this design element gives the smartphone a distinctive appearance.
One of the biggest highlights of the Find N6 is its foldable display. The company describes it as the “world’s flattest foldable”, claiming the device will show almost no crease when folded. This improvement is made possible by a new display material called “Sky-Shaped Memory Glass”. Foldable phones usually have a visible crease where the screen bends, so this feature aims to address one of the biggest concerns users have with foldable devices.
The device also features a new hinge mechanism made from titanium alloy, known as the “Sky-Shaped Hinge”. This hinge is designed to ensure smooth folding and long-term durability, even after extensive use.
Pre-orders for the Find N6 have already started in China. The smartphone will be available in 3 colour options: Deep Black, Golden Orange, and Original Titanium. Buyers can choose between 3 storage configurations: 12GB RAM with 256GB storage, 16GB RAM with 512GB storage, and 16GB RAM with 1TB storage. Satellite connectivity will be available only on the top variant.
While the company has not yet officially revealed the complete specifications, several leaks suggest that the device may run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset.
Other expected features include an 8.12-inch inner foldable display, a 6,000mAh silicon-carbon battery, support for 80W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging, and compatibility with the Oppo AI Pen stylus.
If these specifications are confirmed, the Find N6 could emerge as one of the most powerful foldable smartphones to launch in 2026.
