Expanding its smartphone lineup for budget-conscious users, Oppo has introduced a new base variant of the Oppo K14x 5G in India. The device was originally launched in February as the first model in the K14 series.
The newly introduced variant comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage, making the smartphone more accessible to students and first-time smartphone users, according to the company.
Price and availability
The 4GB + 64GB version of the Oppo K14x 5G is priced at ₹12,999 in India. The smartphone is also available in two other configurations: 4GB + 128GB priced at ₹14,999, and 6GB + 128GB priced at ₹16,999.
Customers purchasing the device can avail of an instant bank discount of ₹750 along with a 3-month no-cost EMI option. The smartphone is available through Flipkart and the Oppo India online store.
The handset comes in Icy Blue and Prism Violet colour options.
Display and software
The dual-SIM smartphone runs on Android 15-based ColorOS 15. Oppo also promises up to 48 months of Fluency Protection for smoother long-term performance.
It features a 6.75-inch HD+ (720 × 1,570 pixels) LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1,125 nits peak brightness, and 256 ppi pixel density. The device also carries an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance.
Performance and connectivity
Powering the phone is the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, paired with an ARM Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, up to 6GB LPDDR4x RAM, and up to 128GB UFS 2.2 storage.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.4, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm audio jack. Navigation systems supported on the phone include BeiDou, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and QZSS.
Camera and battery
For photography, the Oppo K14x 5G features a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, the device includes a 5MP camera for selfies and video calls.
The smartphone is powered by a 6,500mAh battery with 45W wired fast charging support.
The handset measures 166.6 × 78.5 × 8.6mm and weighs around 212g.
