A new addition to Oppo’s audio lineup has arrived in China, bringing stronger sound output, improved noise cancellation, and longer battery life. The latest model builds on its predecessor with a focus on premium listening and smarter connectivity.
Oppo has launched the Oppo Enco Air 5 Pro in China. The true wireless stereo earbuds succeed the Enco Air 4 Pro, which debuted in 2024. With this release, Oppo is aiming to deliver better audio quality and more effective noise control. The earbuds feature a 12mm driver, support LHDC 5.0 Hi-Res audio, and offer active noise cancellation of up to 55dB. They also come with Bluetooth 6.0 connectivity and are claimed to deliver up to 54 hours of total battery life with the charging case.
Price and availability
The Oppo Enco Air 5 Pro is priced at CNY 329, or roughly ₹4,300, in China. It is available in Moonstone White and Midnight Black colour options. The earbuds are currently open for pre-orders and will go on sale from March 2.
Audio features and noise control
The Enco Air 5 Pro uses a 12mm driver and supports a frequency range of 20Hz to 40KHz. It supports AAC, SBC, and LHDC 5.0 Hi-Res audio codecs, offering a wireless transmission rate of up to 1Mbps. The earbuds provide active noise cancellation of up to 55dB, with multiple listening modes including ANC on, Adaptive mode, Transparency mode, and ANC off. Oppo has also added a three-microphone call noise cancellation system for clearer voice calls.
Connectivity and controls
For wireless connectivity, the earbuds support Bluetooth 6.0 and allow dual-device pairing. They include a 47ms low-latency mode to minimise lag during gaming and while streaming audio or video. Touch controls are supported, along with slide gestures for adjusting volume.
Battery and design
Each earbud is powered by a 62mAh battery, while the charging case includes a 530mAh cell. Oppo claims up to 7 hours of playback with ANC on and up to 13 hours with ANC off on a single charge. With the charging case, total battery life is rated at up to 29 hours with ANC on and up to 54 hours with ANC off.
The charging case measures 63.37×50.03×24.74mm and weighs 43g. Each earbud measures 30.91×17.06×19.93mm and weighs 4.4g.
