Oppo Find X9s tipped for India launch with Dimensity 9500s and flagship features

Fresh leaks suggest Oppo is preparing to expand its premium smartphone lineup with the Find X9s, as new details hint at a global rollout that includes India and other Asian markets.

According to a report, the Oppo Find X9s is expected to be “among the first smartphones in India” to feature MediaTek’s upcoming Dimensity 9500s chipset. The processor belongs to MediaTek’s efficiency-focused “s” series and is built on a 3nm process. It is said to offer performance close to the Dimensity 9500, while improving thermal control for more stable gaming and long-term use.

Oppo is reportedly planning a Q2 2026 launch for the Find X9s in India and other South Asian markets. The device is also expected to arrive in regions such as Vietnam, Malaysia, and Singapore. This aligns with earlier leaks that suggested both the Find X9s and Find X9 Ultra could debut in select global markets during the same mid-year window.

The Find X9s is said to share several design and hardware elements with the upcoming Find X9s Pro, which is tipped to launch in China soon. It may feature a compact 6.3-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Reports also point to the use of LIPO packaging, which could allow for slimmer and more uniform bezels on all sides.

On the imaging front, the handset is expected to carry a triple rear camera setup. This may include a 200-megapixel primary sensor and a 200-megapixel telephoto lens, positioning the Find X9s as a camera-focused flagship.

Battery capacity is also expected to be a highlight. The device is tipped to pack a battery close to the 7,000mAh mark, along with support for wireless charging. Additional features could include a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor for secure biometric authentication and a fully water-resistant build.

While Oppo has not officially confirmed any of these details, the leaks indicate that the Find X9s could arrive as a strong contender in the premium smartphone segment during the middle of 2026.
