Fresh leaks have revealed new details about the Oppo Find X9 Ultra, which is expected to arrive as the most premium model in the Find X9 line-up in China. The focus appears to be firmly on photography, with the upcoming flagship tipped to feature an advanced quad rear camera system led by two 200-megapixel sensors.
As per information shared by a known tipster on Weibo, the Oppo Find X9 Ultra may include a 200-megapixel primary camera with a larger sensor and light intake said to surpass one-inch class sensors. The phone is also expected to feature dual periscope telephoto cameras. The first is rumoured to be a 200-megapixel periscope mid telephoto sensor designed to deliver lossless quality zoom. The second telephoto camera is expected to be a 50 megapixel ultra telephoto lens offering 10x optical zoom. The overall camera setup has been described as “incredibly aggressive”, with all lenses working together to deliver high quality and lossless focal lengths.
The 50 megapixel ultra telephoto camera is said to offer a native focal length of up to 230mm, which can extend to 460mm while maintaining image quality. The device has even been labelled the “Reigning King of Photography” by the tipster. Earlier reports suggest that the 200-megapixel periscope camera could use the Sony LYTIA 901 sensor, introduced in November. This sensor features a 1 over 1.12 type large format design and uses 0.7-micron pixels. Completing the rear setup could be a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, while the front may house a 50-megapixel selfie camera.
Beyond cameras, the Oppo Find X9 Ultra is expected to feature a 6.8-inch 2K LTPO OLED display. Unlike the Find X9 and Find X9 Pro models that use the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chip, the Ultra variant may run on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. A company official has also hinted that the battery capacity could exceed 7000mAh. More official details are likely to emerge closer to the launch.
