Oppo A6 Pro 5G launched in India with high-capacity 7000mAh battery and 50MP camera

Oppo has launched its latest smartphone, the A6 Pro 5G, in India, bringing impressive battery life and high-end features to the mid-range segment. The new device comes with a 7000mAh battery that the company claims can provide up to 40 days of standby. It also supports 80W wired fast charging, allowing the phone to charge from 0 to 100% in just 64 minutes. The Oppo A6 Pro 5G is available in two colors, Aurora Gold and Cappuccino Brown, and can be purchased through Oppo’s official website.

The smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor paired with an ARM Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. It features 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and offers two storage options of 128GB and 256GB UFS 2.2. The handset runs on Android 15-based ColorOS 15 and comes with a large 6.75-inch HD+ LCD display. The screen supports a 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, 1125 nits peak brightness, 256 ppi pixel density, 16.7 million colors and covers 83% DCI-P3 color gamut.

In terms of cameras, the Oppo A6 Pro 5G has a dual rear setup with a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP monochrome lens. It also has a 16MP front camera for selfies and video calls. The rear cameras support video recording up to 1080p at 60fps. The device is equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and face unlock. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.4, USB Type-C, BeiDou, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo and QZSS. The smartphone is claimed to have an IP69 rating for dust and water resistance.

The Oppo A6 Pro 5G is priced at Rs. 21,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant and Rs. 23,999 for the 8GB RAM and 256GB model. Buyers can also get an instant discount of up to Rs. 2,000 using select bank credit cards. The smartphone measures 166.6×78.5×8.6mm and weighs 216g. With its large battery, fast charging and capable camera system, the A6 Pro 5G targets users looking for long battery life and reliable performance in the mid-range segment.
