Early signs of the upcoming OnePlus Turbo series are starting to surface online ahead of its official launch in China. The brand has already confirmed that the new lineup will include “gaming-focused” smartphones and a fresh benchmark listing now offers a closer look at what users can expect in terms of performance and software.
A tech blogger shared on X that a OnePlus smartphone carrying the model number PLU110 has appeared on the Geekbench benchmarking platform. According to the post, this model number is linked to the upcoming OnePlus Turbo. The listing reveals key details such as the chipset, operating system and memory configuration, suggesting the phone could launch in China soon.
Based on the Geekbench data, the OnePlus Turbo is powered by an octa core ARMv8 processor, believed to be the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoC. The chipset includes 1 prime core clocked at 3.21GHz, 3 performance cores and 4 efficiency cores, paired with an Adreno 825 GPU. The listing also shows 14.81GB of RAM, which is likely to be marketed as 16GB. The device is expected to run on Android 16. The same source claimed that the phone could debut in China in January next year.
This development follows confirmation from a company executive in China, who revealed on Weibo that the OnePlus Turbo series is currently under development. The lineup was also teased during the brand’s 12th anniversary event. Earlier leaks suggested the OnePlus Turbo may debut as the OnePlus Ace 6 Turbo and could feature a massive 9000mAh battery. It is also said to come with a 6.78-inch LTPS OLED display offering 1.5K resolution and a refresh rate of up to 144Hz or 165Hz. More details are expected to emerge soon.
