OnePlus Pad 3 Launching June 5: Flagship Tablet with Snapdragon Power Arrives Soon

The winds of innovation are once again stirring in the tech universe as OnePlus gears up to unveil its next-generation Android tablet, the OnePlus Pad 3, on June 5. Set to launch across North America, the UK and Europe, this power-packed device will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, promising speed, multitasking prowess and AI fluency.

Curiously, the India launch still remains under wraps. Yet, speculation lingers that an announcement might align with the OnePlus 13s, a compact flagship made exclusively for India, also launching on the same day and powered by the same chipset.

What magic does the Pad 3 promise? Much like its predecessor, it will feature Open Canvas, the multitasking marvel that lets you run up to three apps simultaneously, offering seamless productivity across a single screen. It will likely be accompanied by a detachable keyboard and a stylus, which, based on tradition, may be sold separately.

Buzz in the tech circle suggests that this could be a rebranded version of the OnePlus Pad 2 Pro launched earlier in China. If that holds true, we can expect a 13.2-inch 3.4K display with a fluid 144 Hz refresh rate, reaching brightness levels up to 900 nits under High Brightness Mode.

Under its sleek frame, the tablet might carry up to 16 GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512 GB of UFS 4.0 storage, delivering both power and space for creators and multitaskers alike. On the photography front, it could boast a 13 MP rear camera with LED flash and an 8 MP front shooter for video calls and casual selfies.

Fueling this device could be a massive 12,140 mAh battery, paired with 67 W SuperVOOC fast charging, ensuring less waiting and more doing. It is likely to operate on OxygenOS 15 based on Android 15, with integrated AI features already experienced on the OnePlus 13 and 13R.

As the world awaits, OnePlus stands ready to raise the curtain on what might be one of the most refined Android tablets of the year.
