Expanding its mid-range lineup, OnePlus has launched the OnePlus Nord 6 in India with major hardware upgrades, including a new chipset, improved battery capacity, and enhanced display features.
The OnePlus Nord 6 is priced at Rs 38,999 for the 8GB + 256GB variant, while the 12GB + 256GB model is priced at Rs 41,999. The smartphone will be available from April 9 at 12pm in Fresh Mint, Pitch Black, and Quick Silver colour options. Customers can avail discounts of Rs 2,000 on Axis Bank credit cards (full swipe) and Rs 3,000 on Axis Bank and HDFC Bank credit cards for EMI transactions, bringing the effective prices down to Rs 35,999 and Rs 38,999.
The device features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate, 1.5K resolution, 450ppi pixel density, 93.5% screen-to-body ratio, and peak brightness of 3,600 nits. It also supports 3840Hz PWM dimming and comes with Crystal Guard protection.
Powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoC with an Adreno 825 GPU, the phone offers up to 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB UFS 4.1 storage. It includes a 33,147mm sq heat dissipation system for thermal control.
For photography, the handset has a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-600 main camera with OIS and EIS, along with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera. It also includes a 32-megapixel front camera.
The OnePlus Nord 6 runs OxygenOS 16 based on Android 16 and will receive up to 4 OS updates and 6 years of security patches. It includes features like dual stereo speakers with OReality Audio and a Plus Key for quick access to Mind Space content.
Connectivity options include 5G, Bluetooth 6, Wi-Fi, GPS, GLONASS, BDS, Galileo, QZSS, NavIC, and a USB Type-C port. The phone also features multiple sensors, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and MIL-STD-810H durability.
It packs a 9,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging, 27W reverse charging, and bypass charging support. The device also comes with IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance.
