OnePlus brings its hole pattern magnetic case to the upcoming OnePlus Ace 6T

OnePlus has confirmed that its popular hole pattern magnetic case, first seen with the OnePlus 13s, will now be available for the OnePlus Ace 6T. The case gained attention for its playful design and the freedom it offers users to personalise their devices.

The accessory features a back panel with a grid of small circular cutouts. Users can insert cube shaped decorative plugs into these cutouts to create patterns, shapes or simple pixel style designs. It acts as a protective case but also doubles as a fun customisation tool.

The case includes built in magnets that support various magnetic accessories. OnePlus has stated that the Ace 6T version will work with its own Mag accessories as well as products from Oppo. It will also attach to many third party magnetic accessories often used with popular smartphone ecosystems, including common magnetic car mounts.

A teaser shared on a social media platform shows the case in a light gray finish similar to earlier versions. Many users hope additional colours will be offered since a major part of the case’s appeal is personal expression.

There is one limitation to note. The OnePlus Ace 6T does not support wireless charging, so while magnetic battery packs or chargers will attach to the case, they will not charge the device.

Since the OnePlus Ace 6T and the OnePlus 15R share the same hardware with regional branding differences, the case is likely to be made available for 15R buyers as well.

Pricing has not yet been announced. The version designed for the OnePlus 15 currently sells for about twenty five dollars, which is roughly six hundred ninety nine rupees in India, so similar pricing can be expected for the Ace 6T version.

This addition may be a small update, but it offers users a simple way to give their phone extra character beyond standard customisation options.
