OnePlus 15R India pricing and features surface ahead of December 17 debut

With its India launch just days away, fresh leaks have revealed key details about OnePlus’ next premium smartphone, including expected pricing and major specifications.

OnePlus is set to launch the OnePlus 15R in India on December 17. Reports indicate the phone is based on the OnePlus Ace 6T, which debuted in China earlier this month, with market specific changes made for Indian users. Ahead of the official announcement, pricing and feature details have surfaced online.

According to tipster Paras Guglani, the OnePlus 15R is expected to arrive in 2 storage variants. The model with 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage may be priced between Rs. 45,999 and Rs. 46,999. A higher variant with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage is tipped to cost around Rs. 51,999.

The leaked prices are said to exclude bank offers. Buyers could receive additional discounts ranging between Rs. 3,000 and Rs. 4,000 through select payment methods at launch. The device is expected to be available in Charcoal Black and Minty Green colour options.

OnePlus has already confirmed several hardware details. The OnePlus 15R will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, making it one of the first smartphones globally to feature Qualcomm’s latest chipset. The company stated it worked closely with Qualcomm for nearly 2 years to optimise performance and power efficiency.

The phone is expected to feature a 6.83 inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution. OnePlus has confirmed a 165Hz refresh rate, matching the standard seen on the OnePlus 15, to ensure smoother scrolling and gaming performance.

Battery capacity is another major highlight. The OnePlus 15R will pack a 7,400 mAh battery, which is larger than both the OnePlus 14R and the OnePlus 15. Reports suggest support for 80W fast charging, though official charging times are yet to be announced.

On the camera front, leaks suggest a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP main sensor featuring optical image stabilisation, an 8MP wide angle lens, and a 32MP front camera for selfies and video calls.

The device is also tipped to feature multiple protection ratings, including IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K. It is expected to confirm full specifications and final pricing during the official launch event.
