OnePlus 15 Leak Reveals New Design, Bigger Battery And Possible Missing Model

A leaked render has given fans an early look at the upcoming OnePlus 15, showing a bold new design and hinting at powerful specifications. The image, shared by a tipster on X, points to a redesigned camera setup and fresh colour choices.

Unlike the circular rear camera modules seen on recent models such as the OnePlus 13, the OnePlus 15 appears to adopt a square-shaped camera island with rounded edges. The module is expected to carry three sensors, marking a shift towards a more angular style.

The handset is said to launch in Black, Purple, and Titanium colours. Storage and memory options may include 12GB RAM with 256GB or 512GB storage, 16GB RAM with 256GB or 512GB storage, and a top model offering 16GB RAM with 1TB storage.

Reports suggest the smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 processor, also referred to as Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, placing it among the top flagship devices expected later this year.

The display is rumoured to be a 6.78 inch flat LTPO panel with 1.5K resolution and up to 165Hz refresh rate. Battery life could see a major upgrade, with capacity tipped to exceed 7,000mAh along with support for 100W wired fast charging.

The OnePlus 15 is widely expected to replace the OnePlus 13, which debuted in 2024 with the Snapdragon 8 Elite, up to 24GB RAM, 1TB storage, and a 6,000mAh battery with wired and wireless fast charging. However, it remains uncertain whether the company will release a OnePlus 14 before the launch of the OnePlus 15, or skip directly to the new model.

Only time will reveal if this upcoming device will arrive as the direct successor to the OnePlus 13 or if a missing model will make an appearance first.
