Her appointment marks a historic milestone as she becomes the first woman to hold the CFO position in the organization’s history. In this role, Pitts will lead the health system’s financial strategy, oversee fiscal operations, and support long-term financial sustainability as OhioHealth continues expanding healthcare services across the region.
Before joining OhioHealth, Pitts served as Chief Financial Officer at PerkinElmer. During her tenure, she played a key role in shaping the company’s financial strategy and strengthening operational performance across global business operations.
Prior to that, she held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Hyperion Materials & Technologies. In this role, she guided financial planning and strategy for the company’s international operations across the Americas, Europe, and Asia.
Earlier in her career, Pitts spent more than 14 years at Cardinal Health, where she held several senior leadership positions. These included Senior Vice President and CFO of the Medical Segment, Vice President of EMEA Commercial Operations, Vice President Global Process Owner, Vice President of Finance, and Director of Corporate Finance. During this period, she led financial strategy for major business segments, supported large-scale digital transformation initiatives, and contributed to operational growth across global markets.
Pitts began her professional journey at Deloitte & Touche as an Audit Senior. She later held senior finance roles at Excellus BlueCross BlueShield, where she advanced through multiple leadership positions including Vice President of Finance.
She holds an MBA from Syracuse University, further strengthening her expertise in financial leadership and strategic management.
With extensive experience across healthcare, life sciences, and global finance operations, Pitts is expected to play a key role in strengthening OhioHealth’s financial strategy and long-term growth.
