Nvidia moves towards launching open-source AI agent platform for enterprises

As competition in artificial intelligence continues to intensify, Nvidia is preparing to introduce an open-source platform designed for AI agents. The upcoming system is expected to help companies deploy intelligent software agents capable of performing tasks for employees and automating complex workflows across enterprise environments.

According to reports from a technology publication, Nvidia has been presenting the platform, internally called “NemoClaw,” to enterprise software companies ahead of its annual developer conference scheduled to take place in San Jose next week.

The proposed platform is designed to enable organisations to build and deploy AI agents that can handle a wide range of knowledge-based tasks. These agents are expected to work autonomously, assisting employees, managing processes and supporting complex operations within enterprise systems.

Industry sources suggest that Nvidia has reached out to several major technology companies to explore potential collaboration around the platform. Organisations including Salesforce, Cisco, Google, Adobe and CrowdStrike have reportedly been contacted regarding possible partnerships. However, it remains unclear whether any formal agreements have been finalised.

The platform is expected to follow an open-source approach, allowing developers and partner organisations to contribute code and technical resources. It is also likely to include built-in security and privacy features designed to support enterprise-level deployment.

Another important aspect of the platform is its compatibility. Companies will be able to use the system even if their software products do not run on Nvidia hardware. This flexibility could encourage wider adoption across the enterprise software ecosystem.

Nvidia’s initiative comes at a time when interest in AI agents is rapidly increasing across the technology sector. These systems are designed to perform complex tasks independently over extended periods, representing a shift from traditional AI assistants toward more autonomous digital workers capable of planning and executing workflows.

Through the launch of this open-source AI agent platform, Nvidia aims to strengthen its role in the expanding AI software ecosystem while encouraging broader industry collaboration around agent-based technologies.
