London-born technology disruptor Nothing has revealed the complete design and smart capabilities of its soon-to-arrive CMF Phone 2 Pro, ahead of the official debut on April 28. Alongside the phone, the brand will also debut a trio of fresh audio companions, CMF Buds 2, Buds 2a, and Buds 2 Plus, building a full suite of devices under its CMF umbrella.
Design That Dares to Be Different
The CMF Phone 2 Pro proudly flaunts a dual-tone back panel, echoing the bold design language of its predecessor. Preview images from an e-commerce microsite show off two stunning variants, one in CMF’s signature orange with a matte-gloss contrast, and another in white with a uniquely textured, granite-inspired finish. True to CMF’s modular ethos, the phone brings back visible screws and a rotating dial, hinting at the return of swappable back covers and attachable accessories like lanyards, cardholders, and stands.
AI-Powered Features
One of the major talking points is the integration of smart tools, ushered in by the debut of the “Essential Key”, a multifunctional button first seen on the Nothing Phone 3a lineup. This clever key allows users to quickly take screenshots, record voice notes, and store them in a dedicated AI-powered “Essential Space”, where artificial intelligence tidily categorizes content, sets reminders, and even creates events automatically.
Camera
The CMF Phone 2 Pro houses a triple-lens camera system, including a 50MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP telephoto lens boasting 2x optical zoom. The highlight? A large 1/1.57-inch primary sensor reportedly the biggest in its category and the first in this price range to bring true optical zoom capabilities to users who demand detail and depth in every frame.
Power
Fueling the device is the newly announced MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro SoC, promising 10% faster CPU speeds and 5% improved GPU output over its predecessor. Whether it’s fast-paced gaming or smooth multitasking, this chip is built to handle it all
Gamers will especially love the 120fps gameplay support in BGMI and a 1,000Hz touch sampling rate, promising instant responses and fluid control.
