Nokia has announced a strategic partnership with Converge ICT Solutions Inc., a leading fiber and technology solutions provider in the Philippines. Converge will deploy Nokia’s advanced Data Center Fabric solution to modernize its new data centers across the Philippines, aiming to deliver superior high-speed digital services.
Nokia’s comprehensive Data Center Fabric solution, encompassing both hardware and software components, will be at the core of Converge’s enhanced infrastructure. A key feature of this deployment is the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and automation technology, which will significantly boost network performance, scalability, and operational efficiency, while also improving overall service agility.
“As Converge and many forward-looking technology companies increasingly host AI applications, we need to ensure there is seamless integration with traditional applications. We see AI workloads and high-performance computing (HPC) to becoming an essential part of our operations so we’re prepping our data center networks to be designed for extreme scalability and reliability.” said Dennis Anthony Uy, Converge CEO and Co-Founder.
This collaboration is set to provide several crucial benefits for Converge. It will ensure that the company’s cloud infrastructure is “sovereign cloud ready,” addressing critical regulatory compliance requirements.
Furthermore, the modernized data centers will be better equipped to handle future demands, particularly with the anticipated increase in AI applications and high-performance computing workloads. The partnership also underscores a commitment to driving operational excellence through the strategic application of automation and AI.
“This crucial initiative with Nokia reflects our commitment to continuously adopt next-generation technology solutions to provide consistently high-quality experience to our customers. Nokia’s industry-leading solutions will help us prepare our infrastructure for future demands. The use of automation and AI will enable us to ensure regulatory compliance and to enhance network operations to gain a business edge.” said Paulo Martin Santos, Chief Network Transformation Officer at Converge.
“With this collaboration with Converge, we are looking forward to playing a bigger role in the Philippines’ growing data center industry. Our solutions are designed to empower data center operators, like Converge, to leverage AI-powered automation to ensure unmatched reliability and scalability to prepare the digital infrastructure for the future.” said Kent Wong, Vice President and Head of IP Networks, Asia Pacific at Nokia.
By upgrading its data center capabilities with Nokia’s cutting-edge technology, Converge aims to solidify its position as a provider of robust and future-proof digital services in the fast-growing Philippine market.
