India’s Global Capability Centre (GCC) ecosystem continues to expand, with over 2,100 centres already operational and more companies joining the segment. Two major developments highlight this momentum:
US-headquartered NLB Services has announced its entry into the GCC-as-a-Service space to help companies establish and scale their centres globally, with India as the key hub. The service offering includes infrastructure setup, workforce solutions, compliance support, and marketing services.
CEO Sachin Alug said the company’s AI-driven solutions have already enhanced client efficiency and scalability, and NLB is now ready to expand this model across India, North America, Asia, the UK, and Europe. To lead global strategy, NLB has appointed Abhilash Raghavan as Chief Business Officer (CBO).
Meanwhile, HCLTech has been recognized as a Leader in the Avasant Global Competency Centre (GCC) Services 2025 RadarView report. The report highlights HCLTech’s role in establishing 200+ GCCs across domains such as finance, HR, customer operations, and advanced engineering.
HCLTech’s strengths include:
GenAI-powered services and engineering excellence.
Global delivery footprint across India, Poland, and the Philippines, with expansion into Tier-II Indian cities under the New Vistas program.
Partnerships with AWS, Google Cloud, and others.
AI Labs that support co-innovation and collaboration with clients.
Kiran Cherukuri, Global GCC Practice Leader at HCLTech, said the company’s full lifecycle model—Advise, Setup, Run, Optimise, Transform—is driving innovation and value as GCCs evolve into autonomous transformation hubs.
