Nitin Varma Appointed as Senior Vice President & Managing Director for India and SAARC at Saviynt

Saviynt, a leading provider of cloud-native identity governance solutions, has announced the appointment of Nitin Varma as Senior Vice President and Managing Director for India and SAARC. With a strong presence in the region, Saviynt already employs nearly 600 professionals across various corporate functions in India. Varma’s appointment underscores the company’s continued commitment to expanding its market footprint in South Asia.

As the new SVP & MD, Varma will be instrumental in driving Saviynt’s customer acquisition strategies, cultivating technical and consulting partnerships, and enhancing the company’s position as a trusted provider of identity security solutions across India and the SAARC nations.

Paul Zolfaghari, President at Saviynt, shared, “Nitin brings more than 25 years of experience in sales, operations, and strategy for some of the leading companies in identity, security, and infrastructure. We have a large opportunity and aggressive goals for growing our business in South Asia, and we are confident that Nitin is the perfect choice to build and scale our business in the region.”

Varma’s impressive career includes over two decades of leadership experience in cybersecurity and technology, having previously held prominent roles at organizations such as CrowdStrike, Palo Alto Networks, and Cisco. In his last role as Managing Director at CrowdStrike, Varma successfully built and scaled the company’s market presence across India and SAARC, laying a strong foundation for continued success.

Expressing his enthusiasm for the new role, Varma stated, “I am excited to join Saviynt at a time when the company has tremendous potential to gain mindshare, build its reputation, capture market share in South Asia, and most importantly deliver the desired outcomes to customers. India is the second most targeted nation in the world in terms of cyberattacks, a vast majority of which are identity related. I look forward to building an impactful team and developing ecosystem partnerships and alliances to educate businesses in the region about Saviynt and why its cloud-based platform is the most reliable approach to solving problems and protecting identities.”

With this strategic move, Saviynt aims to further strengthen its presence in the rapidly growing South Asian market and lead the charge in identity security solutions.
