NextFoods, Inc., parent company to science-backed functional nutrition companies Cheribundi and GoodBelly, today announced the appointment of Marc Seguin as the Company’s Chief Executive Officer effective immediately.
“Marc brings a wealth of experience in scaling brands, driving operational excellence, and building high-performing teams,” said Marcel Bens, Chairman of the Board at NextFoods, and CEO of ECP Growth, NextFoods’ majority shareholder. “We couldn’t be more thrilled for him to lead NextFoods into their next phase of pivotal growth.”
Seguin brings more than three decades of experience across the food and beverage sectors. Prior to joining NextFoods, Seguin served as Chief Sales Officer at Pressed Juicery, where he played a key role in developing the national chain’s go-to-market strategy and expansion into retail into 1,000s of new stores with a 100%+ increase in revenue during his tenure.
Previously, Seguin was Chief Executive Officer at Caulipower, where he helped scale one of the fastest-growing brands in frozen foods to over $100M in revenue. Earlier in his career, Seguin worked in a variety of roles spanning marketing and general management, including Chief Sales and Marketing Officer at GT’s Kombucha, and President and Chief Marketing Officer at Popchips.
As CEO, Seguin will join a dynamic team celebrating 20 years of operations in 2026. Under Seguin’s leadership, the company is focused on continuing to strengthen its existing brands while scaling the company’s next chapter of strategic expansion.
