Ms. Tushir brings over 20 years of experience in HR leadership, with a strong focus on building people-first cultures and driving talent strategies across complex, multi-geography organisations.
In her new role, Ritu will support NatWest Group’s growth in India by leading HR priorities across culture, talent, leadership, and organisational effectiveness. She joins with extensive experience across global servicing centres, technology and operations businesses, and shared services environments, where she has driven HR strategies focused on scale, performance, and employee experience.
Before joining NatWest Group, Ritu was associated with Northern Trust Corporation as Head of HR, Asia Pacific Servicing Centers. In this role, she led HR for the region’s servicing centres and supported workforce strategy and people programs across Asia Pacific.
Prior to that, she spent nearly 7 years at American Express, serving as Vice President, Human Resources, and earlier as Director, Human Resources. During her tenure, she led talent strategy for technology and global servicing businesses. She also drove organisation-wide change initiatives, culture programs, and strategic HR support for large teams across Japan, Asia Pacific, and global shared services functions.
Ritu also held a short-term leadership role at Whirlpool as Director, Human Resources, where she served as Head Corporate HR. In this position, she led HR for Global Financial Shared Services and Asia HR, covering talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, and learning and development initiatives.
Earlier in her career, Ritu worked with American Express as Director – Human Resources, leading HR for customer services and collections businesses across India, Greater China, and South East Asia.
Ritu also spent close to 9 years at Genpact, where she rose to Assistant Vice President – Human Resources. During this time, she held multiple HR leadership roles, including heading HR for key banking clients within global BFSI operations across India and the Philippines.
