Natasha Chander takes on an expanded role as Regional HR Head – Mumbai and Business HR Lead – Pan India Corporate Functions at Tata Tele Business Services

In this role, Ms. Chander will lead the people strategy for the Mumbai region while partnering with corporate teams across India to strengthen HR business partnering, talent priorities, and employee experience initiatives aligned with the company’s business objectives. She also shared that she is “truly excited to return to Tata Group.”

Before joining TTBS, Chander served as Deputy Vice President – Human Resources at IIFL Finance, where she led the Workforce Experience charter covering talent acquisition, talent management, employee engagement, and employer branding. Her responsibilities also included building centres of excellence across strategic talent acquisition, employee engagement, DEI and belonging, rewards and recognition, communications, and employer branding.

During her tenure, she helped enhance employee experience through cohort-based and hyper-personalised employee journeys, introduced assessment tools to strengthen data-driven talent selection, and supported leadership and organizational communication initiatives. She also contributed to improvements in performance management frameworks and HR policies. In addition, she supported ESG-aligned HR initiatives and served as a member of the Internal POSH Committee from January 2025.

Chander has also worked as Founder at Expanse Coaching and gained consulting experience through assignments with Integriti Consulting. Earlier in her career, she served as Chief Manager – Human Resources at Kotak Mahindra Bank, where she supported business HR for the wealth management division.

She also spent more than 4 years with Sterling and Wilson, a Shapoorji Pallonji Group company, as Senior Manager – Human Resources, contributing to key HR initiatives within the organization.

Chander began her career with significant experience in people operations and talent programs at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). During her time there, she contributed to initiatives across talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, competency management, diversity and inclusion, employee wellness and POSH programs, and leadership development.

She has also held HR roles at Larsen & Toubro and earlier gained exposure through assignments including an internship with TCS Global Consulting Practice and an HR coordination role at ITC Grand Central Hotel & Towers, Mumbai.

With her diverse experience across financial services, consulting, engineering, and technology organizations, Chander is expected to strengthen HR strategy and people initiatives as TTBS continues to advance its business and workforce priorities.
