Nasuni strengthens Hyderabad GCC to accelerate AI-driven file data innovation

A US-headquartered infrastructure software provider is scaling its India innovation footprint as part of its global product development strategy. Nasuni has expanded its Hyderabad R&D global capability centre (GCC) to advance innovation across its enterprise file data platform, aimed at helping organizations modernize file infrastructure for collaborative teams and AI-driven workflows.

The expanded Hyderabad facility will work closely with teams in the United States and Ireland to support platform evolution, file data indexing, AI integration, and resilient infrastructure design. According to the company, the Hyderabad teams will focus on semantic indexing and contextual modeling, version lineage and metadata intelligence, predictive analytics and AI-driven operations, zero trust-aligned access enforcement, and cyber resilience, including advanced ransomware detection.

Nasuni began operations in Hyderabad with 2 employees in August 2025 and is now planning to scale the centre to nearly 125 employees by the end of this year, CEO Sam King said on Tuesday. The company currently has a global workforce of about 600 employees, including around 40 employees in Hyderabad and 30 employees in Ireland, where it operates another GCC.

“Hyderabad gives us access to one of the strongest and deepest technology talent ecosystems globally,” said Peddareddappa G, Senior Director and India Site Leader at Nasuni.

The expansion reflects the company’s continued investment in global engineering collaboration while strengthening capabilities around AI, data intelligence, and cyber-resilient infrastructure development.
