Impetus has named Nachiket Deshpande as its new Chief Executive Officer. His appointment marks an important leadership shift as the company strengthens its position in the fast growing AI driven digital economy. Nachiket brings close to thirty years of global experience across technology, delivery and business leadership. He is known for guiding large organisations through major transformation programmes.
Before joining Impetus, Nachiket served as President and Executive Board Member at LTIMindtree. He led the organisation’s AI Services business which covered AI advisory, engineering, solutions and platform operations. During his tenure, the AI Studio and the Agentic AI marketplace became key growth drivers. This progress was supported by stronger technology partnerships and deeper collaboration with academic research groups.
Earlier, he held senior roles including Chief Operating Officer and Executive Board Member at LTIMindtree and at LTI which is Larsen and Toubro Infotech. In these positions, he oversaw global delivery transformation, operational excellence and innovation across the enterprise. His long career at Cognizant also played a major role in shaping his leadership path. He spent two decades at the company and served as Global Delivery Head for the Banking and Financial Services practice as well as the Cloud and Infrastructure Services business. He was part of important projects that scaled automation, advanced cloud frameworks and supported strategic efforts such as the TriZetto acquisition and integration.
Nachiket began his professional journey at Tech Mahindra, which gave him a strong base in enterprise technology and engineering. As he steps into the role of Chief Executive Officer at Impetus, he is expected to guide the organisation through its next phase of growth. His focus will include advancing innovation, expanding global reach and accelerating progress across data, cloud and modern engineering capabilities.
